Amazonia!
This morning I saw one of the best exhibits I’ve ever seen in my life, Amazonia, a 365 degree Panoramic Brazilian Amazon in Leipzig, Germany by Yadegar Asisi. Upon entering the Panometer, the venuehousing the exhibit, one tantalizing hears a subtle yet dramatic jungle soundtrack pulling you zombie-like towards the piece de resistance. the introduction: leipzig! I have been living and working in the Spinnerei (http://www.spinnerei.de/), which is a 14? building cotton mill complex complete with a cafe, art supply store and bike shop. And across the street is one of the many summer communities left from GDR Germany; made up of fenced in dirt floor houses replete with garden gnomes!
